We are looking for a Service Engineer.

Our client is multinational well-known organisation, specialising in industrial air compressor products and solutions.

The Service Engineer will be joining the Rental department for temporary compressed air, nitrogen, power and steam solutions for industrial customers.

The ideal candidate will have engineering academic background and engineering experience in the industrial sector.

Scope of Role

As a Service Engineer, you follow up projects with industrial customers in Greece, both during the start-up and throughout the project, in order to ensure a perfect operation.

You are also responsible for the preventive and optimal maintenance, repair and installation of the rental fleet in their workshop. Periodic inspection and a preventive maintenance schedule ensure the quality and reliability of the rental fleet. This rental fleet includes electric and diesel driven compressors, generators, steam boilers, coolers, dryers and accessories.

After an induction and training period, as a Service Engineer you will actively participate in the 24/7 service & availability for their customers.
 

Job Description

To provide a professional and prompt service and maintenance on hand in all types of Rental Equipment, consisting of various sizes:

• oil free / oil injected air compressors
• power generators
• Steam boilers
• Chillers

· Full control and responsibility for the day-to-day technical needs, involved in the operational role of Service Engineer. Prime duty is to cover the technical needs and requirements of the company in Greece.

· Admin skills for handling Work Orders and warehouse stock

· Ensure a strong focus and responsibility on internal and external Health and Safety.

· Cooperation with the sales team for the market intelligence

· To provide technical support to the dealers closely following up the execution of the tasks

· Preserve and enhance relationship with customer / colleagues / suppliers
 

General Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in service and troubleshooting related to industrial machinery and equipment
• Relevant technical degree is considered a big plus
• Experience in the maintenance and repair of compressors is a plus
• Good command of English is a must
• Good computer skills
• Clean Driving license and valid Passport
• Good communication skills
• Organize and execute around prioritize. Set priorities according to importance and urgency
